Classes started on Monday, but I only had my fashion studio. It was a lot of fun, we made 3D objects out of paper. I made a tree-like thing with bark, a dragonfly, a butterfly, some worms, and a spider.. haha it was kinda cool. It could be like a luminary for a light or candle. After class our teacher took us to the art store and I got some sketch pads and other things. I'm excited about my personal sketch book, it has some artistically drawn naked ladies on it... it's pretty neat.

After the art store we went to Tesco, its a big super market. They have everything, it's kinda like Walmart, but better. And oh dear we went right at 5pm so it was a mad house in there! Gosh you could barely walk through the isles, much less read what the food actually was haha. It was superrrr stressful. We finally got out of there and I helped Christine cook some food... ha even though she is the real chef, I'm excited to pick up to cooking tips from her.

About 7pm we went to this show at the Lucerna (music hall) to see The Swell Season's Strict Joy European Tour with Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova.... it has hands down the BEST SHOW EVER!!! Oh my gosh I am so excited that Christine and Elizabeth introduced me to their music and told me about the show. Glen and Marketa are so passionate about their music and they really get into it... I definitely got chills. Glen is Irish and Marketa is Czech, so they are real big here too. They were dating, but they recently broke up unfortunately... it was sad.

Today I just had one class again.. the basic Czech language. Our teacher is super nice, I'm really excited about the class. We've already learned how to read Czech words and such... I mean the basics. But still I feel like I've already learned some crucial points.

So I'm now a monitor for the institute.. and I get paid! I mean it's not much, but it's something. There are a lot of people doing it so we have to rotate turns. All we really have to do is make sure everything is turned off, and unplugged, the heaters are turned down, and the doors are all locked.. then we have to set all the alarms and lock the doors. There are a lot of doors and alarms, but it's all good it shouldn't be too bad.

Me and Christine got some paper from studio to put on our walls to fill with souvenirs and random things... she had a ton of photos, but I unfortunately only brought one. It sucks because I wish I had more!! Oh well it shall still be neat-o.

Tomorrow is our first early class, ugh. I have fashion studio and fashion illustration. On Thursday I have fashion studio, Czech, and fashion history. I can't wait to learn about how to properly draw figures and all that jazz.
