Trip End
Nov 29, 2006
Hello, Just a brief update on my last few days of the travels.
Arrived in Bangkok on the 21st so have been here quite a while. Most people think its far to long to be in Bangkok, but I really like it. I met Dani at the airport, and we booked back into the D and D Inn, where we were first time. It was really nice to be back. The islands were so beautiful, but we were there for 3weeks so in the end you can get a bit beached out. Me and dani spent the next few days generally getting drunk and shopping and visiting a ping pong show, which is a whole blog in itself! The girls arrived unexpectedly early and turned out to be in the same hotel too, so we all had a nice meal together before they left to go back home. Its so sad as its all at an end now and when you begin the trip you can never imagine the end coming. We have all had such a wonderful time.
The next day Dani and I spent shopping again and we had a super time together, some things happend that day that ill never forget! It was very hard when she left. It finally dawned on me that it was all over.
The last couple of days Ive been having a lovely time with a couple I met by the pool.
Ive been back to tiger temple as I loved it there so much. spent the whole day there and a american guide showed me round all day it was great to learn all about the tigers and the rituals and beliefs.
Tonight i plan to meet up with Fin and Justin (the couple) and find the biggest best steak in Bangkok. Some last minute shopping and then packing as I leave tomorrow although I wont be home until thursday morning.
Im very sad to have now finished my backpacking. (although some of it has been done on wheels!)I could never had hoped to enjoy it as much as I have, or see and do as much as this. (even if my blog is a bit rubbish ive saved all the best stories for when I see you all)
I have had some amazing experiences and will have many memories that I will cherish forever. I hope I can go off on another adventure in the not so distant future.
