Up north and out of Portugal, to a little place called Vigo. Not much in the town of Vigo, but just off the coast, a couple of little islands (National Parks) which you can catch a ferry to, yet the only accommodation is to camp... Which we decided upon, despite having a distinct lack of camping equipment. These islands are just amazing, some of the most spectacular cliffs and scenery, it really felt like we were at the edge of the world.
Being protected and a National Park, they have done loads to protect the natural islands, and we had read that there are seals living in the vicinity of the island, but it is a greatly rare site, but we saw one, and he was so cute!! I named him Charlie. He was feeding in a little alcove where we were sitting and relaxing, going down for 2 or 3 minutes at a time before popping his little head back up and breathing!!!
