Trip planning update
Time to Departure - 27 days.......
With the farewell party for our friends over it is time to de-clutter the house of anything related to us.
Max and Nick decided it was a great idea to get a paddling pool to sit in and drink beer at the party at the weekend and lots of beer and drink was had by all, including some sneaky tequilla slammers!
Cut out crocodiles, outhouse signs, shrimps on the BBQ, kangaroos and Aussie flags adorned the house, while route maps were displayed throughout the house so everybody could see the route we are intending on following over the next 7 and half months.
We had our first house viewing on Saturday morning, think we may have had few funny looks with the Aussie decorations! But fingers crossed to getting the house rented ready for us to depart.
Now the party is over, the stressful packing away of the house starts to happen. Trips to Stratford and Prescot will then be on the cards as 'Parent's Storage and Removals Co' goes live. Thankyou Mums and Dads!
Visa update
The passport photos for Iran have been taken (for Liz) in a Hijab, which for Nick and Adam was the funniest thing ever, the photo may be put on here but don't want too much ridicule!
Vaccination update
Both Max and I have aching arms after the latest installment of Swine flu, which has left a nice angry red bump on our arm, which is hotter than the surface of the sun!
If we didn't see you on Saturday, Max and I would like to say a big thankyou for everybody who has supported us, and for those who came, thanks for drinking all the strange alcohol we have stored!
See ya later alligator!! xx
