We've been sat here for a while working out what to say and have worked out that we are not the most inspirational of people so instead we will write what we can and you can tell us what you think! Here goes.....

Delhi is dirty. Getting the the taxi in from the airport was fun. cars driving 5 abreast on a 3 lane motorway, plenty of undertaking and overtaking simultaneously and a good does of car horns. Was never really scared as they dont actually drive too fast but wouldnt fancy taking the wheel myself. A whole lot of work going on for the Commonwealh games (which starts in 10 days) but not much of it looking like being finished. Then we arrived at our hotel. First we turned off the main road on to a muddy side street lined with dodgy looking shops. The driver pulls up and points at an even muddier and narrower lane and says "hotel up there". Jumped out, tiptoed like big girls through the mud and walked up the lane, past an open urinal, round a bend to be greeted by a bunch of slumdog kids and there was our hotel shining in front of us. I must say its not exactly the image they present on their website. Will stick a pic of the reception up tomorrow and their web link so you can judge. Room was small but ok but toilet was pretty dingy. Was getting kind of used to it until tonight when i flushed the toilet and the shower drain in the corner started spewing the brown stuff. we're on the 3rd floor. nice. apparently guys next door had blocked the drains. they moved us to a new room quick smart but as the title says, "sh*ttiest" hotel ever! We leave in the morning so hopefully the only way is up from here!

Hopefully the pictures tell you the rest of the story of our time in Delhi.....
