Arrived in Yellowstone, town deserted, most of the shops and hotels closed. It was like driving into a ghost town . We were plesently surprised with our hotel, its like a lottery. This time a winner, huge room with pool and all the trimmings. I went off to do the washing. While I was gone Gary went to the loo. When I returned he was standing outside bathroom. He had blocked the toilet, had filled up and spilled over the falls, covered the entire floor. No way was I cleaning that up and neither was the guy on duty. He gave Gary some towels and disinfectant
The poor man is still showering. Spent the afternoon in Yellowstone NP. Apart from some people fly fishing, we had the area to ourselves. Saw only a tiny part, this park is so vast. Saw some geysers, elk and got really close to some bison. Have 4 days here so should cover some territory. Halloween today, we have put little pumpkin stickers on the car and bought lollies incase we come across kids trick or treating. The weather here is great, warm days, dry with blue sky and only patches of snow. A welcome change from the cold.
