Sunday we drove 2 hours to Bretagne (or Brittany) to Mont St. Michel. There is an abbey on top which began construction in the 700s. It's very old and medieval. There were a ton of steps we had to climb up, but once we got to the top, it was well worth it. The views were picturesque. Besides the abbey there isn’t a whole lot to see at Mont St. Michel, it’s very touristy. We really lucked out with the weather this past weekend, it rained a little when we were walking around, but it definitely poured when we were driving. Someone was watching out for us.
