Spent 5 days in Cairns with a mate (Frank). had a wicked time. Took a 2 day/1night livaboard diving trip which was awesome and realy well priced. For $345 p.p we got fed 4 good meals, 7 dives (including a night dive) and all the snorkelling you could do. AWESOME!

I ended up doing 6 dives and went snorkelling with Frank as he wasnt diving. One dive was a night dive, had never dived at night before and was an amazing experience.
Dived at - Saxon Reef, Magic Reef, Coral garden (3 locations) and Norman reef. Saw heaps of fish, coral, turtles, Travelli and a white tipped shark.
Highly recoomed diving at the barrier reef, stunnig.

I went with Ocean Quest - http://www.diversden.com.au/oq.htm they were a really proffesional outfit. Accomodation and food on the live-aboard was brilliant, staff really friendly and all good equipment.

Heaps of places to drink, dance and eat. It is a missin to find any restaurant that is BYO.
