Porto De Galinhas is a cool little place to spend a week relaxing. Renowned for its natural beach pools when tide goes out. You take ´Jangada´s´ (like a sial boat but not, see pics) out to these pools which are full of fish which you can swim with and feed (see the pics).
The other attraction is dune buggy rides to the many beautiful beaches of Muro Alto which has a natural wall breaking the waves which runs all the way to Recife some 2 hours away (see the pics)and Maracaipe beach where surfing championships are held (see pics).
