Didnt expect to get much out of Recife as it was just a stop over on the way further north but went into town and found a Forro (traditional northern music) festival going on as it is the month of Sao Paulo and got to see some of the old churches there. Took a day trip to Olinda which is old and beautiful cobblestone street town and had a great seafood lunch atop Alto Da Se overlooking the town.
