Nestled on the Lago Nahuel Huapi is the stunning town of San Carlos De Bariloche. Truly breathtaking! For the Aussies who know Jindabyne and the entry into Thredbo, you can take that view and multiply it by 1000! Beautiful lake with a backdrop of beautiful mountains. I sat at the port yesterday and watched the sun set over the river and mountains with a young Argentinean band playing Pink Floyd in the background as the 3rd of May is a holiday for the poeple of Bariloche celebrating their birthday, yesterday was there 140th. A cool little party was going on in the town square.
The shorts and T-shirts have now been packed away, well for at least the next 6-8 weeks till i make my way back north and closer to Bolivia. I think i am going to have to invest in warmer clothing, especially as i head to the most southern point of south america Ushaia.
