La Paloma
Took a day trip here from Rocha, not much here but had a great time regardless. We hired bikes and rode around checking out the village, beaches and port.
Ponta Del Diablo
Oh how i wished it were summer!! Great little beach town. Waves were awesome but time did not permit a surf ):. Pouring down rain when i arrived but managed to find my hostel after about 30 minutes, thank god for that $2 umbrella i bought back in NYC!!
Colonia Del Sacramaneto
Final town before heading to Argentina. Beautiful old Portuguese fort. YOu can see where the wall divided the town to keep the enemy out. itīs other walls were water. You catch a ferry for 45 minutes from here to Buenos Aires. On a good day you can see the city of BA accross the water and from the top of the church tower. Worth a visit and definately a great way to get to Argentina.
