Peuta Del Este and Rocha, Uruguay

Left Montvideo for a beach town called Puenta Del Este 2 hours northeast of the capital. In the summer this place would be sensational but seeing as the summer is over it was deserted. Stayed for 2 days and really didn't do much but wander around town and walk on the beach. I did hire a moped for an hour and cruised the whole peninsula, it was freezing due to the wind factor but cool none the less. Met up with some travellers i had met in Brasil and had a pretty big night at a restaurant and some Uruguayan wine. Needless to say i woke up with a nasty hang over this morning and boarded a bus to a town called Rocha a further hour and a half north. Stopped here for the day and will do a day tour of a beach 45 minutes east tomorrow.
Hope Everyone had a great Easter break and not working too hard!!! Remember it is a 4 days week!!! and for the aussies another 4 day week with Anzac Day this weekend!!
