That is the most common expression from little old ladies in the old market town of Dali.

I liked there colored sheets there.  I wish i had bought more than one of them because I've not seen them like that anywhere else in my travels.

The Jade Emu is a nice guest house within walking distance from the main gate of the ancient town.  It is run by an Expat who plays pool to bet on a free nights stay if you can beat him.  This is where I met Leonie, the awesome German girl I ended up traveling with for the next 2 weeks.

I also met a family of 3 from America: Ryan, Emily, and Ollie, their little blonde toddler.  They are on an incredible year-long journey seeing the world.  They are very nice to talk to and are quite adventurous.  They have managed to trek across much of Asia with their 2-year old son.  It's definately a team effort to take care and manage him, but rewarding as well.  They are living life to the fullest.  Very inspirational.  [I would miraculously meet them a few more times in my travels at odd places.]

Dali was a nice town, great weather this time of year.  Far from pollution of major Chinese cities.  Here, you start to get the feeling of local cultures.  There were some really good deals for souvenirs and things.  You need to haggle a bit.  You can also hike the nearby mountains overlooking the lake, or go on bike rides, etc.  I was only here 2 days, because I wanted to see the most of Yunnan that I could with my time and money.

Next stop: Lijiang.  Even further up into Yunnan.  I went there by bus with Leonie.
