I am soooo sorry for not updating this sooner, I keep getting texts from everyone asking for pics... well here are a few!!
I have been having the time of my life, I have been so busy working... yes that's right WORKING!! I know I could get away with it at the council but now I actually have to work!
I work in a bar called the Woolshed, which is basically the same as Warehouse but much much bigger!!! I work long hours but really enjoy it. I do food from 4.30pm until 9.30pm and then work the bar. It gets sooo busy in there but it's always fun. Then when I finish early I get to meet all my Oz family and go out for drinks. All our tips get put into a pot and then at the end of the month they get counted up and we book a work day out, at the end of June we are all going paintballing. We are all meeting on Monday afternoon on the Esplanade for a bbq and drinks which will be nice. All the people I work with a re great. There's little Chloe, Anna who's just left me.. I love that girl soooo much! Then there's Heather, Cath, Tessa, Liz, Dan, Adrian, Tom, Pete, Baggy, Paul, Sean, Todd, another Paul in the kitchen and a few others that I can't think of right now!
It was Emily's birthday the other night so we all headed down to the Esplanade (which is the beach area, apart from there's no beach, just a lagoon pool and the sea!!!) and had a massive bbq. I was head chef!!! And no, before you ask, I didn't poison everyone!!! We all sat down there drinking and eating until we got in trouble with the security and had to leave... you're not allowed to drink alcohol down there!! Then we headed back to the hostel, had more drinks on the balcony and then headed out for the night. Let's just say it was a messy one!! Had a wicked time though.
Katie and Tanya decided to buy a car randomly so we have been on little adventures recently checking out Cairns and north of Cairns. We went to Palm Cove which is a really nice beach. Then we went to a place called Yorkeys Knob! Just another beach resort, again really nice. They had a festival there the other day called "Festival of the Knob" The oz family went down there together to see Rob working in his ice cream van (haha loser!) and decided to eat ice-cream and go on the swings! The guy let just us lot on so we had loads of fun, Paddy threw his flip flops (thongs!) at Katie whilst going round and I nearly puked. Oh well, it was amusing anyway!! I then drove through the mountains to a place called Kuaranda to see the Barron Falls. It was so nice driving again, i miss it! Although the passion wagon is not fitted with power stearing so it was hard work! Unfortunately the passion wagon is no longer.. we woke up one morning and it was gone. Towed away or stolen we shall never know. Never mind. Goodbye Passion Wagon, it was emotional.
RESULT! We found an English sweet shop on the pier! I have missed Prawn Cocktail crisps sooooo much so invested in some! Ended up spending over $20!! Ooops! It was worth it though. I had a nap in the afternoon, woke up and enjoyed a packed of moster munch! Heaven!!!
A couple of the girls I have been working with left the other week so we all went out for a few drinks. Grace, Aimee and Christine are now in Darwin wishing they hadn't left, they miss the Cairns life!!! Get back here girls, we miss you!
Then it was Brad's leaving party, another messy night!!
I'm now living in a hostel called Global Palace, it's really clean as Stef now has a job cleaning it!!! And it's really lively, I can just go and sit on the balcony and start talking to people and make loads of friends, it's really nice. I live with Katie, Adam and Steve and then in the next room it Stef, Tanya, Paddy, Rob and Joe. Upstairs is Mike and Vicky, Jen and Emily and then Paddy's brother Alan who got here today. That's my Oz family!!! There's also Jel who we are trying to persuade to come over and stay with us.
The best news of all is today I decided to go and get a tattoo!!! I've wanted one for ages and now I have finally got the courage to get it done! Check the pics, I love it. Katie came with me and held my hand throughout!! In the end, Katie came off worse than me! She nearly started smoking to get over the stress of it all!!! It didn't actually hurt as much as I thought it would. It did a bit when he did the dark lines but nothing that I can't handle! haha!!! Anyway, check the pics to see what I am on about! I had it designed for me so I WILL be offended if you don't like it! haha!
I hope all of you are well, I miss you all so so so so much. I'm sorry I am lame at emailing and getting back to your texts but it doesn't mean that I love you any less. You guys rock my world and I love you all.
Anyway, gotta go and get showered somehow and get ready for the pool party tonight!! woo hoo! The whole of our hostel are partying on the roof of the hostel tonight around the pool.
Free drink + Free Food + Party Games + Our Hostel = CARNAGE!

Sounds like your having a great time. Tattoo looks very nice. I like!! Nothing's changed here to be fair. ive got a job interview today @ 2pm. Had a lovely dinner @ ur mum's last night. She's still feeling rough bless her. Nice to see them both. Looks like ur part of a big family! So wish I was out there. Your so lucky! Well depressing reading all the things ur getting up to and seeing all the pics. Its so hard being the one stuck at home. Been talking to matt and he's getting on well up in birmingham. Im looking at going to malia for a week, been offered free accom with lucia's mate who's repping there so gonna check out flight prices. Got a few mates who are working out there at the moment and I need a holiday big time. Your not ready for me til nov and Im not waiting that long to get out of chatteris so a cheap week away sounds good to me. Steve and ben are prob gonna come with me. If we dont go then were gonna go to newquay instead. Missing talking to you baby. Keep enjoying ur self.
