Arrived in Bangkok and got a taxi to our Hotel, it was like a step into civilisation!!!! definaltly a change from dusty indian villages and cows walking along the road, and poverty and beggers, so a nice relief. The Hotel is an ace choice by baz who booked it on net, it's just off Koh Sahn road, famous from the film the beach, our Hotel has internet, travel desk, pool table, nice food, and really well located. Its currently half one in the morning, 22nd, and outside is not at all sleezy around here, its really cool. We fell into bed about half six pm bangkok time, after being awake for about 34 hours, and then woke, 3 hours later!!!!! and so had a couple of beers and a toastie !!! Body clock to hell!!!
There are loads and loads of outdoor food stalls here, selling loads of wierd and wonderful stuff, so we said we're gonna eat from them while we're here and try a few different foods.
Gonna take a look around Bangkok tomorrow and find out more, but so far, ace first impressions!!!
