I know I only wrote an entry yesterday, but I am in Rosario for 7 hours whilst waiting for another overnight bus to Puerto Iguazu and the falls (via a 1 hour stop in Santa Fe, but I wont send ANOTHER entry from there telling you about the bus station don´t worry!) and I wanted to include one more city in my diary. I feel a bit like a bag lady, having to wash in bus station bathrooms and wandering around the city at 7.30 in the morning, but its all part of the fun of travelling I suppose!!
Rosario is a much more industrial and less picturesque than Mendoza, but it has a monument to the Argentinian flag, which is pretty amazing. Underneath the monument there is a room dedicated to all the flags of the America´s, along with their coat of arms, national anthem and national flower (most of which are really exotic and beautiful). It was the best museum I have been in so far ... and it was free! The lady even came over and told me all about it, unfortunately she was talking in Spanish, but I didn´t want to seem rude, so I noded and said ´si´ and ´claro´ a lot, which she seems quite content with!
