Well I think I have found my new favorite place...Prague. What an amazing city. We loved every minute of it. The buildings and history are fascinating. The beer, food and petrol are so cheap.
We followed the Elbe River all the way from Germany through the mountains and beautiful countryside. We stopped just across the boarder and brought a map as "Charles" (the GPS) does not work in Prague. We also got our road tax sticker from a very helpful lady who could not speak a word of English but who managed to get us totally sorted.
Our campsite was 10km from the town centre and had great public transport system to get us in and out of town. Our second night in Prague we nearly missed the last bus home at 12.20am!!! We were having such a good time.
We met up with Monika (ex staff member) who was a fantastic guide and also a great drinking partner for Spud and I. It was fantastic to do girl talk again and we are trying to convince her to come back to Queenstown again.
Because it was so warm and cheap we ate out each night. A bit of a novelty for us but really enjoyable especially for the girls who did not have to do the dishes for a while! The weather was really fantastic for us, shorts and t's again which is promising of the summer to come.
