The girls and Spud went skiing at Snowbasin. Finally a clear day and some sun for them. It was tempting but my knee was just not up to another day so I had a day off in Ogden, Utah. I was very domesticated and did all our laundry - hey we were staying in the Marriott! I also managed to sneak off to the movies, 27 dresses, for the afternoon.
Snowbasin turned out to be the best resort they have ever skied at. Grant referred to it as walking into the Sofitel building in Queenstown but in your ski gear! The floors were marble, waiters in black and white wearing bow ties and ladies in the powder room handing out towels and perfume!!!! Thanks Brian for the recommendation they loved it!!!!
We headed down the road to Park City, only to not be able to stay because of the Sundance festival. Not even a manger in sight! I was a bit disappointed because I loved Park City ten years ago but I am sure we will return one day. So another big car ride and we land in Grand Junction, Colorado.
I programmed a shopping mall in to the GPS with the idea of heading to the food court for a quick bite to eat and it having something for all of us...good thinking Lisa! So as we walk into the Mall the first shop we spy is VICTORIA SECRET! Spud thinks he has been ambushed. To prove he was not, I did not spend a cent even thought they are having there semi annual SALE! My time will come...
