My plan for last night worked a treat, the kids played in the pool all night and Spud, Jayne and I knocked over 5 bottles of red wine and a few beers. Needless to say we both have a bit of a hangover and the kids are absolutely exhausted!!!
The 14 hour flight to Vancouver should be filled with sounds of Murphy's sleeping!
Getting here was more stressfull and sad than what i thought it would be. It is actually a big deal to be leaving family, friends and your dog for a year. But we are finally on our way and my virtues such as paitence and compassion and my budgeting skills are going to be tested and stretched to the limits! I'm positive this is going to be an interesting travel diary!
