Friday,
Wow what a day. We got up early to grab a cappaccino and get to the market in Conegliano (sp?). I have never been to a better market, Wow, so many awesome things, so little time. We spent the entire morning shopping at the market, i bought a track suit, some gorgeous leotards and my amazing red handbag. Then we spent a couple of hours at a restaurant bar place where we had pasta and the guys had a bunch of wine. Then we hit the road for Slovenia. The drive was gorgeous and we drove past one of the locations used to film Prince of Caspian (the latest Narnia movie). High mountain passes and amazing scenery. We arrived at a lovely hotel in a town where Peter's family once lived. We went to the pool and the spa there. I experienced my first Turkish bath, which was neat. Very european, which meant it was a bit too naked for my comfort but I had my sheet and it went everywhere with me. For the record I was the only prude in the place but Peter refrained from teasing me too much. We had a dinner and Simone and I walked around the moutain town. There were lots of skiiers from all over Europe staying in the town. Will get Simone to write the name of the town and the famous valley for me as i do not remember it.
We crashed hard that night as it had been a long day and the next would be very full too.
