We arrived at Dulles about 6AM, forty five minutes ahead of schedule.  The lines at immigration were really long, and if our flight had been on time we might not have made our connection.  By the way, we saw some immigration agents coming on duty while we were near the front of the line.  We didn't know they carry fire arms.  Eep.  We ended up overdoing it on the cash end in Argentina because the moonlit tour was cancelled and we didn't do the horseback riding.  We had cash to exchange, but none of the money exchange places were open at Dulles.  Poo.  We had slept through the breakfast snack on the plane, so we had muffins from Starbucks, and some coke and water.

On the flight to O'Hare we chatted with the flight attendant and traded international travel stories, like the time he and his partner posed for their Christmas card in front of a New Zealand tourist place called "the big fruits."  It made the flight pass much faster.  He was the one who explained the blanket issue.

Once we were in O'Hare, we found a money exchange place, but they wouldn't take Argentine pesos.  D'oh.  Last flight to Madison was easy and uneventful.  Lisa even slept a little bit.  Upon landing we took one last picture, sorry the week was over, but glad to be home.  Our babies were very glad to see us, and Lisa was excited to see her tulips were still blooming.  We finished out the day with baths and a nap, and dinner at a Mexican restaurant.

We're already planning our next trip to Argentina.  We want to go down to the tip of the continent to Ushuaia (the southern-most city in the world, where the penguins live and where you can ride el Tren del Fin del Mundo, "The Train of the End of the World"), and travel back up the country.  We hope to stop in El Calafate (where you can walk among the glaciers), Puerto Madryn (where the whales are), Mendoza (where the wine is made), and who knows, maybe we'll even take a little side trip to the Galapagos!  We don't know when it will happen, but we plan on making it happen someday!
