Anniversary and Going Home

We didn't get to spend much of our anniversary in Italy, unfortunately, as Chris had to get in a taxi at 3:45am to make it to his plane on time, and Lisa soon after. After slight sleepy misadventures, we made it to our respective airports, and once again, both flew back through Germany. (Chris had wienerschnitzel!) The Frankfurt airport has a casino in it, but Lisa couldn't get a picture due to quick connections and seat assignment hold-ups. But then on to Chicago, back to Madison, and straight into jet lag. We did go out to a local diner for our actual anniversary dinner, which was good, but couldn't compare to the prior days in Italy. We slept that night for approximately 14 hours, but were immensely happy to have had such an amazing opportunity together. We really want to go back and see more of the country, perhaps do a Eurorail trip and visit other countries, cultures, art and food. Soon, we hope.
