The Amarillo to Dallas leg of the trip was a long one. We were on the bus the entire day, and didn't get into Dallas till dinner time. But when we got there, we all went out for dinner at Hooters, the one in Dallas is the biggest Hooters in the world. After dinner we went for drinks at Gilly's, a bar that played country music and had a mechanical bull!
Oct 12th - On our free day in Dallas we went to the Sixth Floor Museum, a museum dedicated to JFK, with a lot about his assasination as it was from the same building that he was shot from. On the road below you could clearly see an X marked on the ground which is where JFK was when he was shot. It was a really good and informative museum.
We also had a tour of Texas Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys. We got to walk on the ground as well as see the dressing rooms.
After lunch we went shopping at Northpark Mall, an outlet mall.
