The view of the lower valley was so amazing during our hike to Lao Chai that we wanted to go back and see if we could catch it in better light. We thought the morning would be better, before the haze sets in and the distant mountains get bleached. So we headed out about 7:45 A.M. and took the road this time to arrive there more quickly. Unfortunately, the light wasn't much better. But to the eye it still looked great, and we had a fun morning excursion out of it. A few of the pictures turned out okay so I thought I'd post them.
