Where I stayed
We drove to Orlando from Florida on the 6th. We barely got into our hotel room (12pm-ish) and we were on a bus to Epcot. After booking a ticket to 'Soarin' at 9.15pm that night we split up, arranging to meet at 8.30pm in ‘England’ to watch the fireworks.
I jumped on few rides but then made my way to the ‘Round the World’ area. I stopped in each one, some longer than others. It rained off and on a few times and people seemed to quickly put on their Mickey Mouse rainroats which made me laugh a bit. I was quite happy to get a bit wet.
We met back up together and settled into watch the fireworks and the heavens broke. So sorry, the photos stopped. We were completely drenched but found the whole situations pretty darn funny. So we walked (kinda half swam actually) up to ‘Soarin’ wearing our drowned rat attire. We then found ourselves waiting for a bus with 40 other people. In the pouring rain with no shelter for a bus that forgot us till 11.30pm. Finally hit the hay at 1am with only a muffin for dinner.
Next day, up early again and off to Universal. We did a ton of rides. Though I must admit I was pretty much over it by the end of the day with a migraine annoying the heck out of me. Loved the animal actors of course here. PIGS RULE! Freaken awesone! Prior to the show they brought out a young dog which I am guessing they were training for the environment (Habitat). Got D.A.S.H guys? Sorry, only my dog training buddies will get that one.
On our last day in Orlando, Kathy and I just walked up the road for the afternoon. Browsing shops and having a general look around. I was pretty much over the theme park thing. These guys do this shit for a week sometimes. Hats off to them!
Sorry, this made me laugh!
