Seven days to go.

Blog entry number one!  Don't expect anything as wonderful and as detailed as Sue's blog.  I tend to suffer from writer's block relatively easy.  I suspect Kathy will be making her Marg Simpson noises over my choice of photo.  But I'll risk it.  You can walk from New York to Atlanta right?

So I guess it's goodbye to Sunny Nelson for a while.

OK, the photo is a joke.  But we do floods really well too.  That one is trying to gain entry into the hospitals A&E.  And it was the only way to access the city that day because well, the hill kind of fell into the sea for a while on the other route.  The weather has actually been clear blue awesome for the last few weeks with our famous frosts every morning.  Especially if you live in our valley (barely any wind).

I'll also make my apologies for any spelling mistakes now.  My brain runs too fast for my typing fingers and my words start to get a bit dyslexic looking.  Try not to cringe too much Sue!  Plus I'm really awesome at changing the subject three times in a sentence.  Go me!

Blog title explanation for anyone confused.  Little apple, I am referring to Nelson due to apples being one of its main industries.  Plus, I kind of work with alot of them.  The ones that aren't exported anyway.  Here is our large concrete monstrosity weigh bridge apple.  Possibly may be eligible for Ugly NZ http://uglynewzealand.com/ ?  Think it used to be a Coxs Orange but after its paint job, my best guess is a Royal Gala.  And for anyone wondering, yep its stalk and leaf actually turn in the wind.  Sorry about the unflash night shot.

I'll leave you all for now with Abe watching over the bay, wearing his usual attire of seagull hat.

Great first entry Linley. You will get a culture shock going from Nelson to New York. At least we have been easing ourselves in gently. Look forward to seeing you in the Big Apple :) don't forget your vampire outfit (says Rob)

Cool. As long as Robbie has his pink heels on, we should be good to go.
