Annyong haseyo, I am currently in Coex Intercontinental Hotel, Seoul. This Coex area is said to be built and owned by Samsung. wow, Samsung is so rich.

but before I go into details about my Seoul trip, let me share with you my experience of visiting beautiful Geoje(aka Koje) island. This island is the second biggest island in Korea with the highest GDP in the country.

This is not a popular tourist destination, but there is no lack of places to visit. We touched down at Seoul after 5 hours of flight from Singapore at about 7am. Then we took an domestic Korean Air flight to Busan (1 hour+). Upon reaching Busan Airport, we took a car to Keoju Car Ferry Passenger Terminal.
As the ferry started sailing, we saw people feeding the seagulls with prawn crackers. its such a funny sight as the seagulls dipped down to retrieve their feeds.

When we reached Koje island, we still have to drive for about an hour before we reached our hotel, Admiral. This is said to be one of the best hotels on the island, but it doesnt even have a tour service. Koje island is a nice and quiet fishing village. During our drive there, we saw many stalls selling huge oysters and seafood..yummy.

At 430pm, I tried exploring on my own. The hotel I stayed in is said to be one of the best hotels on the island, but it doesnt even have a tour service. I decided to take a taxi to the nearby Geoje Hot Spa. For a 10 min taxi ride, it cost me 10,000won (forex: 1SGD = 595won) and the spa is not even open! As the sky is beginning to turn dark, I decided that it will be wiser for me to take a cab back to the hotel. The funny thing is, people here seems to share their taxi. I flagged for taxis and they stopped for me even though they have passengers in them. Finally, I took one of them back to the hotel and the other passengers didnt even share the fare with me! argh...till now, I still can't figure out how it works..
