There have been far too many exceptional moments during this trip to pick a favorite in any category. The Singhalese people were happy and smiling, liked Americans, respected grandmothers and helped Carmen and I in any way they could. They were eager to share their remarkable country and heritage and proud of the variety of wonders that make up Sri Lanka.

I'm not a writer so my narration cannot do justice to all that I saw or felt or learned. The trip was in one inadequate word - fabulous.  A picture says a thousand words so I will attach several that I cannot resist including in this book.

This book will bring me sweet memories for years to come.
