We slept in a little as we didn't dock until 10:00. After breakfast we went and watched the ship sail into Cozumel.  There were lots of other cruise ships in port.  We docked at the International Dock which is three miles from downtown Cozumel.  We had tickets for a free taxi ride downtown but it took us forever to get off the ship and then the line for a taxi was really long.  So we just walked in the area around our dock.  There were plenty of places to shop but we didn’t do much.  It was hot and humid so we went back on the boat for our lunch and to wait until our excursion.  At 1:00 we got on the Catamaran and went to the snorkeling location.  There were steps off the front of the boat that went down into the water.  I went in that way, Larry, Derek and Erin jumped off the side of the boat.  There were a lot of fish and some good coral.  It was a better snorkel than George Town.  We were in the water for 40 minutes and the boat drifted with the group so that we didn’t have far to swim to get back on.  When we got back on, they hoisted the sail and we started our 10 mile sail to the private beach.  On the way the bar opened with free beer and margaritas.  My first margarita blew off the table and all over me.  We were really moving over the water.  When we reached the beach I settled in a shady area and read my book while Larry, Derek and Erin went in the water to play.  They did the blow-up water slide and the water trampoline.  When they got back they had more beer.

On the way back to the dock, they put on a lot of line dancing music and Erin and I joined in the dancing.  It was a lot of fun trying to get the steps right when the boat is going fast, you’ve been drinking and the boat is rocking in the ocean.  We got back about 4:50.  Larry, Derek and Erin wanted to do more shopping but I wanted to get back to the ship.  As I got to the dock where our ship was there were a bunch of the crew on the dock dancing and singing us back onto the boat.  When I got to the room, I got a shower and felt much better.  I had only three drinks and there wasn’t much alcohol in them.  It wasn’t long until everyone was back.  After Derek got his shower, he and I went to get a snack.  I got Erin a slice of pizza and some French fries to help absorb the alcohol in her stomach.  It helped but she didn’t feel like going to supper with us.  Derek and I went to deck 7 for the Sail-Away.  Larry joined us when he finished his shower.  We checked on Erin and she wanted more food but didn’t want to leave the cabin.  So I got her more food.

Larry, Derek, and I went to the Summer Palace again for supper.  Derek and I had a crab cake for starters, really good!  Larry had a salad.  Larry had the Chef’s Special: roasted fish with guacamole sauce.  Derek had steak and shrimp and I had eggplant parmesian.  I had flan for dessert, Derek had pineapple sherbet, and Larry had a peach tartlette.  Another great meal.  After dinner Larry and I went to see Charles Peachock, the juggler that was on America’s Got Talent.  He was extraordinary and very entertaining.  Then we turned in for the night.
