We stayed put today.  Erin was feeling tired and slept most of the day.  She is still recovering from mono.  So we stayed and enjoyed the pool and the quiet.  The condo always had noise with all the people there.  The cottage is just across from the beach and in a residential area so it is much quieter.  We read and rested.   Larry, Derek, and I took a trip to the post office to send a postcard for Derek.  Then we went back to the Big Save in Waimea to get some groceries.  We enjoyed the pool right before I fixed supper.  Chowderwitches: a toasted bun (buttered if you want), breaded cod or white fish, clam chowder (Progresso) with corn in it, all layered like an open sandwich with grated sharp cheddar cheese on top.  It is one of Erin's favorite meals.  After supper Erin told us that she wants to go home because she is not feeling well.  She doesn't want to just stay at the cottage while we hike and she doesn't want us to miss hiking to be with her.  We are disappointed as we only get to see her once or twice a year.   She will stay tomorrow while we take a 5 hour cruise on a catamaran to the Napali Coast.  We will be sightseeing and snorkeling, Erin if she feels up to it.  We leave at 8:00 in the morning and get back at 1:30.  She got her flight changed for no fee because she changed from Sunday to Wednesday.  After supper we went across the road for the pinkest and most orange sunset I have ever seen.  It was so pink that the wet sand on the beach looked pink.  While Larry and Derek cleaned up the dishes, I wrote the blog.  We watched Doc Martin before going to bed.
