I got up at 7:00 and read on my balcony.  I was dressed and had eaten before Larry and Derek got up about 8:00.  We took our time getting out the door and deciding what to do.  We ended up heading south to Po'ipu and Koloa.  On the road to Koloa there was a "tree tunnel" of Eucalyptus trees.  The tunnel isn't as good as it used to be due to hurricane damage.  We went out Lawa'i Road to Spouting Horn Beach Park.  There is a lava shelf there where water from the waves is thrust through an opening, causing water and air to squirt out a blowhole.  There is an additional hole that blows only air and makes a loud moaning and gasping sound.  We stayed there trying to get good pictures as the water would spout into the air.  We drove to the end of the road and got out and walked along the bluff above the ocean.  When we left we drove through Po'ipu which is full of resorts and a PGA Golf Course.

On the way back to the condo we stopped at Costco where we had lunch.  Derek and I had hot dogs with drinks and Larry just had a swirled frozen yogurt.   Derek bought sandals and I bought a ukelele.  We also got more salad and ravioli for supper.  When we got back we walked across to the Safeway to get pasta sauce for the ravioli.

The rest of the afternoon was down time.  Derek and I played around with the ukelele and I ended up spending most of the afternoon learning the fingering and looking up songs to play on the internet.  I'm getting sore fingers as I haven't played my guitar much lately.  But it is a lot of fun.  Derek spent a lot of time on his computer and Larry had a very long nap.  We decided to not go swimming today as it got cooler this afternoon and the wind picked up.

When Larry got up I fixed supper.  The ravioli, chicken and mozarella, with Classico's Spicy Tomato Basil sauce was excellent.  After supper the guys did the dishes while I wrote the blog and downloaded pictures.

All day we have been keeping track of Erin's progress:  when she left work, when she checked in at the airport, when her plane left and when it is due in Lihue.

We left for the airport at 9:00 and got there at 9:15.  She arrived before 9:30.  Larry waited with the car in the cell phone lot.  We got back to the condo and showed Erin around.  We talked for a while and then went to bed.
