There were definitely more Chinese food available here compared to Krakow. No, I had my fill of kiabasas and cyech dumplings. I think I like Polish peroigis more. Czechs were dry dense pieces of bread. Once we got into Prague, mz newfound Malaysian/Singaporian mates were on a mission to find these recyclable bags from Tesco (our version of Kmart). But to no avail. My Sunday was full. Tried to beat the crowds to Prague Castle but at 9AM, it was already packed. Then took a tour of the best preserved Jewish Quarter since medieval times. Went to mass in English so it made more sense this time. Maybe even more than thte Tagalog speaking mass I went to in Cali. It was in Child of Prague Church, a pilgrimmage site for Czech Catholics. There was a small statue of Jesus dressed in a velvet robe. There were 50 such robes from differnt countries and for different occasions. Then at night I went to see Don Giovanni, performed with marionettes and hand puppets. Itīs a small intimate theater for 30 people. We can all see the marionettes mouthing the lyrics with Mozartīs music, along with acting the play out. It was hiliarious!  Best show I have ever seen. I donīt know how the performers do it. Later in the Fairz Tale museum, I tried to just manipulate the puppetsī hands and had difficulties doing even that. I talked to one performer after the show and he said they had a intensive 6 month course in high school. And then took a test to be part of the show.  Check out the video of the show.

My biggest gift from Prague besides the people i met was
magically finding a book. You know the book I had to restrict myself
from reading until afer boards... Harry Potter and the Deathly
Halllows. I was searching throutgh the book exchange in my last hostel
when I saw this in the corner. I dumped the mystery thriller I was
holding onto in a heartbeat. Ate dinner at UPinkasu, a famous
restaurnat serving traditional Czech food from 17 and 18th century
cookbooks. It's been open since 1843. Was reminded of Prague
"hospitality" when I was there, but hey, there's good food.

Tips: take the Free prague tour avaialbe 10:30am daily.
Should try traditional czech food: U Kalicha on Na Bohisti 12 (get
Vepro, Knedlo, zelo, svickova, rizek)
