So I've caught a really bad cold. It's nice it came now, when I'm somewhere so secure and peaceful. But it sucks. I had cold medication with me, but when I was up in the north of Ethiopia there were a couple of people with colds, so I left the medication with them. So now I'm feeling it. Although today a missionary I met yesterday gave me some sinus cold medication stuff. I brought some generic antibiotics and I'm taking them now to try to knock it out of me. Really I don't have time to be sick. I feel better today then I did yesterday, that's for sure. So maybe it'll all be better by tomorrow.

I did manage to visit an orphanage before I came down with this cold. I arrived at nap time, and I was impressed to see them all sleeping soundly. All 38 of them. 38 kids, and 7 employees - and all the kids were sleeping. That's just crazy. The last one they found was in an abandoned building. The one before that they found in a plastic bag on the side of a street. All the kids are babies and toddlers. I think once they reach 5 or 6 years old they get sent to another orphanage.
Anyway, quite something to see, and the kids are sooo beautiful. A lot of them get adopted. And you can see why. The new ones are so fragile, a lot of them are malnourished, with thin bodies, big bellies and big eyes. Crazy. But the workers are amazing. You can see their hearts are in their work. It's so awesome to meet people like that.
