We left Bego, Vincent, the goat, the chicken and the horse on 31st March and headed east. Our first stop was Legazpi where we stayed overnight on an aire and then went for a good walk along the river in an area known as the Valley of Iron (having picked up a good interpretation leaflet from the tourist office!).

After Legazpi we headed towards Pamplona, the poor navigator having a meltdown en-route over the awful/lying signs for the non-toll route. A conspiracy to get us to take the toll route! Finally finding the right road (they'd decided to change it's number, just for a laugh) we drove on to Jaca.
