'Żou can't have anymore fries until you eat your burger. Now sit there and eat it'- Random Guy to his son at LA airport.

Felt like a nine year old walking into Disneyland on Sunday. Almost lost my shit when they handed me a first visit badge. The place is just so well done, everything about it has been planned down to a T.
The place doesn't close until midnight, so we got there about 1 in the afternoon, after a forty minute cab ride from LA. Rode most of the famous rides, Splash Mountain, Magic Mountain, Its A Small World (it's cute, but really annoying), Indiana Jones (which was absolutely brilliant), but missed Pirates of the Caribbean, as there was still a forty minute wait at 11pm (!). Didn't really see any of the shows, but managed to catch a bunch of characters dancing on floats. *cough*.
We managed to do about 12 hours at Disneyland, before getting back to LA at around 1am. Very tired, but still kinda pumped about the whole day. It really is a brilliant place.

On Monday (yesterday) had a flight from LA to San Fran at midday, so got up after only a couple of hours sleep to be at LAX by 11am. Security at the airport was pretty intense, but got through ok, and got to San Fran at about 2.30pm. Got to the hostel, which is a lot nicer than the one in LA. The girls crashed pretty much straight away, I had a couple of beers (Lagunitas Indian Pale Ale, absolutely bril) then crashed out. Woke up about 4 hours later, got some Italian, which was some of the best Italian I've ever had, and then pretty much went back to sleep. It's Tuesday morning now, and about to venture into San Fran.

First impression of San Fran is it's a hell of a lot nicer than LA. Unlike in LA, no one has asked me for ciggies, money or crack yet (well, no one asked me for crack in LA either, although a crack head asked Cam for a ciggie, which was hilarious). Will blog again tomorrow night, after a day of shopping and then a day at Alcatraz tomorrow. Sorry for the lack of photos, camera died en route to Disneyland, but have charged the batteries now and ready to roll.

Peace everyone

Hi guys, you sound like you are doing heaps and on the go all the time. We went to Rainforest Cafe in San Fran and it was amazing, if you get time. A few people recommended In and Out Burger and Johnny Rockets which was good. There is a left handed shop at the major pier, it was great. Check out the seagulls, they are huge. Have fun and enjoy
