Once again we have given our lives over to someone else. Time to sit back, relax and let someone else in this case Bruce do the driving and tell us where to go. Ten days to get to Broome. Nice mix of people in the group; two Swiss girls, Francisca and Andrea who have been learning English in Perth, Ruth and Kev from Birmingham who are moving home from Perth, Andrew from Durban also living in Perth, Howard from Blackpool and Nicola (beep beep, toot toot) from Portsmouth who is travelling around Australia.
First stop north of Perth was Namburg National Park, home of the Pinnacles. Some very interesting shapes to be found here and alot is left up to ones imagination! Salad sambos for lunch and our journey continued north.
Stopped off at Horrocks to go sand boarding on what looked like a skateboard. Didn't think Michelle would give it a go but you can always take the easy way out and go down on your bum! Snowboarding dude Liam got the hang of it pretty soon. Only problem is once you go down the dunes at speed, you still have to travel back up.
Cracked open the wine while watching the second compromise rules game live from Melbourne, once again the Irish were beaten but a far better game this time.
