another airport, a way away from the city. after landing felipe met us at the airport and took us to catalinas place for showers before dinner while others were picked up. showers were cold but god we needed them, danni reckoned she smelt bad but i actually did smell bad, like an old dogs armpit would smell like if they sweat a lot. which i dont think they do, but anyway. bad. we went to dinner and met all the organisers and locals along with some other foreign visitors and team-mates. went home with andres to his house where we are staying for the comp. andres speaks enough english for us to communicate and have a laugh at the same time and repeat ourselves a lot. awesome house, will post pics later. super cats too. naturally (awkwardly) wandered through the house in my undies in the morning and found andres mum was there too, her name is dora, his pop is william, they´re out of town for the week now though. first act in the new house, go to the toilet, break/block toilet, of course, that was me not danni but managed to resolve the issue without too much fuss (but a lot of guilt and awkward feelings until i managed to fix it). welcome to my house, please go ahead and block my toilet with your airline food! not.
the pool and that is awesome, actually built for underwater sports, they have special pools for underwater rugby, synchro swimming, underwater hockey, it´s a big complex. there are windows and galleries for people to watch the games, plus screens and cameras too, the weather is awesome, mall just a street away, whole setup is great. we had an opening ceremony last night which was cool, they had some colombian dancing, much of which was pretty cool and some also pretty erotic, nice! danni was feeling a bit crap at this stage unfortunately, we think cos of the different climate plus she was working all day helping with the scores desk! but better now thankfully.
