Where I stayed
Today we started out early and traveled through the Mojave Desert on our way to Arizona. We entered the Mojave National Preserve in Baker California and drove through Kelso Depot and on to I40. The scenery was stark, with Cinder Cones, dunes and Joshua Trees. We saw a few other cars, but we were amongst only a few driving through in the 102 degree temperature, Once on Interstate 40, we had an easy drive to Sedona. We're staying in a condo courtesy of Bob and Isabel from Ohio. It will be nice to have some time to catch up with them and their sons.
As we'll be here a few days, I'll let the girls sleep late tomorrow and we'll just take it easy for a change.
