One more travel day to get us to Washington State. Gabi slept through the entire state of Oregon! For the most part the scenery was not what I envisioned for the Pacific Northwest. Had you shown me a picture of most of the drive until about the last 100 miles, I might have guessed I was looking at New Mexico. We only saw the tall evergreens I think of as Oregon for a short spell in that state. Once we got close to Seattle though, the beautiful tall trees and picturesque lakes and mountains were fantastic.

We went to see the new Harry Potter movie on a huge screen at a 16-theater Lowes Cinema. We thought it was great, but like the last movie, missing lots of details that we enjoyed in the book.

Tomorrow we head by ferry for the Olympic Peninsula and what will hopefully be a highlight of our trip!
