Let the girls sleep in today, and opted for an easy day. I've been wearing them out, and I want them rested for our trip tomorrow. We drove into the hills this afternoon and to a small area of quaint shops and walked around a bit. The heat is remarkable, dry or not! We ate dinner at a famous BBQ place, and we all left with full bellies! Rick & Kathleen have been wonderful hosts, and I've really enjoyed reconnecting with Rick and getting to know Kathleen.

Long drive tomorrow to New Mexico, but exciting times ahead!
