We were up early this morning so that we could spend a bit more time in New Orleans before heading out. We started out in the French Market along the waterfront, and Gabi got her first taste of bargaining with one of the many vendors. We picked up a few little things as mementos, and walked to Jackson Square. We went to the Presbytere to see the Mardi Gras museum exhibit. It was really interesting, and it was amazing to see the elaborate costumes, jewelry and masks. Outside we watched a few street musicians, but as the girls were pretty tired from our busy days, we decided to hit the road. 

This afternoon they spent hours relaxing in the pool in our Cajun/Creole country hotel. Tonight we're off to an authentic Cajun restaurant. We'll see how adventurous they are!
