Hello!!!! well i couldnt change my ticket after matt left so i ended up in bangkok on my own. it has been cool though and certainly an experience. on my first day i was chased my some crazy woman and about 100 pigeons!! there i was minding my own buisness when some woman put bird feed in my hands, i handed it back to the woman 3 times but she kept putting it back in my hands and even put it in my bag. i had to put it by her feet and move swiftly away! she walked after me though and put the bird seed in my hands again but this time it was open so loads and loads of pigeons flew down on me and were fighting each other for the seed in my hand!! i threw it on the floor and litrally ran away this time. then the crazy woman came after me asking for 10bhat!!! what a joke.
It hasnt all been this hectic though, ive spent time looking round the national museum and art galleries and chilling at the swimming pool, topping up my tan!! hey im brown for me!! Yesterday i went to a temple to a meditation group where i learned how to meditate from a buddhist monk. he didnt talk english and it was all thai people there so it was quite scary, was wicked though. After standing still for 30 mins concentrating on my breathing, i had to walk really slowly and concentrate on that. i ended up walking about 50 metres in an hour!! and i was moving all the time, just really really slowly. i felt really stupid at first and just had the urge to break into fits of giggles!! when i got over it though it was very cool, its so strange just to stand and be for half an hour and trying not to really think about anything.
its been a bit weird on my own and for the first three days i didnt really meet anyone. i just spent time reading and doing solo stuff. last nite though i plucked up the courage to go to the travellers bar on my own. it was fine in the end . i met quite a few people and played some pool. was glad i did it
im off to a place called kanchuburi for the next couple of days on a tour, ill be going to the see the bridge over the river kwai and to see the hellfire pass dug out by the POWs during the 1st or 2nd WW (i cant remember!!)ill be going to see some waterfalls too and go to the tiger temple where monks look after tigers who can not look after themselves and only have a stick to control them. you might have seen it on animal planet?
After that Sydney!!

Me and Kate did a long day on mon 27th the morning was ok kate went to fareham but i had to stay on the ward with a few patients being madder than usual, in the afternoon one of them had a stand off in the smoking room kate had to go and talk to them and they had weed in to two empty milk cartons i was waiting for them to throw the wee filled containers at kate i felt so sorry for her, she's not appreciated by any of the doctors. Anyway im sooo jealous i wish i could travel the world maybe one day i will, let me know if that phone card/ piece of paper works, i've changed my email address i'll email it to your hotmail account, take care, from Jenny.
