During the next week nothing special happened. On Friday, I left school early and went home. Erik, my Rotary counselor picked me up. Erik, his wife, my club's vice president, and I drove 3 hours to the northwest. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, but I slept most of the way. When we got there I went with the other exchange students to dinner. We had pizza. Then I went and put my bags in my cabin. Then all the exchange students met with Anne, a women who was trained to help people brainstorm. We played games that built up our friendships and would help us become one. Then we went back to our cabins, talked for a little while, then went to bed. In the morning we met for breakfast. Then we started our brainstorming for a presentation for the Rotarians. We brainstormed in many ways for quite a while. When we finally had our program selected it went like this. The stage and the audience were aboard a plane. One student is the pilot and gives the intro speech for the flight. Then the plane was hijacked and the District Governor(a Rotarian)was kidnapped. But then the superheros come in. There is one from every country where a student is from. They have to collect a ransom to free the pilot and district governor. So we collected money for charity. Then there were some performances like the samba. Then we freed the district governor. I was the American super hero. It was fun and we collected $400 for children with AIDS in Africa. The Rotarians really liked our performance. After it was over we went on a hike up a mountain. It was hard but it was beautiful. On the way down I hurt my ankle, but now, a few days later it feels better. After the hike we evaluated how the weekend went and then we had a fancy dinner with a delicious dessert. Then we went back to our cabins and hung out. I stayed up really late speaking Spanish with the two Mexican girls. The next morning I was really tired. I had breakfast and then I went back to bed. I packed up my stuff and ate lunch. Then we drove back to Krokstadelva. I slept the whole way. When I got home we had dinner and I accidently fell asleep at 6:00. Luckily I woke up at 2:30 in the morning because I didn't have my alarm set for school the next morning.
