After my first week of school I was very tired but also excited because I had a full weekend ahead of me. On Friday night I went to a church in Mjøndalen for a choir practice. The choir is called Nets. My two friends Heidi and Ingvild are involved in it so I went with them. It was fun. The song we learned was in English so it was easy to learn. They meet every Friday so I will join them. On Saturday I went with Ingvild and some of her friends from the Nets to Kongsburg. We went to the silver mines. There is a train that takes you in the mines and gives you a tour. Unfortunately, it had been raining a lot, so the track collapsed in one spot. So we couldn't go on the tour but we looked around the outside and went in the museum. It was very interesting and we will have to go back to go in the mines. On Saturday night I went to Betania, which is kind of like a youth group but they meet on Saturday nights. They sing songs, have a sermon, and then they have a hangout room and a cafe. It was really fun. I made some friends and I taught them a game for the ping-pong table. On Sunday morning I went with Sondre, his cousin, and Tone's parents to Vikersund. We rode the oldest train in Norway. It is only used for tours. Mostly children ride on it, but I went along for the experience and it was really fun and interesting to ride on an old train. I got to eat lefsa, a delicious Norwegian food, on the train. I was really happy about that. On Sunday evening I did my homework.

Nice Pics
I like the pics of the train. Glad you were able to try lefse there. Tone and Roald look so good together in their picture.
