On Monday morning I was really tired and I didn't want to go to school, but I got up and got ready. The first day of school started at eleven o'clock. It was just listening to teachers talk about rules and other boring stuff. We were only there for an hour and a half. I met Ingvild, my good friend. Then Jenny, Heidi, Ingvild, and I went to Drammen to have lunch and go shopping. It was fun to hang out together. The next day school started at one o'clock because in the morning was a time to buy books for school. They buy all their books here. The school doesn't own them, they have to buy every book every year and they are very expensive. So my first class was math. It was okay because I could look at the figures the teacher was drawing on the board. The classes I have are Norwegian, chemistry, English, Spanish, math, older history, gym, community, and geography. They can eat in the library! They don't have assigned seats, they call their teachers by their first name, there is no dress code, the teachers wear jeans and t-shirts, and they have a lot of free time. On Teusdays and Wednesdays I leave school early because I am finished early. Mostly school is okay but it is really boring because I don't understand hardly any of it. My English teacher is really weird. He asks me thousands of questions every class, and it is getting annoying. I get a lot of homework that I can't do because it is so much reading. It is a little frustrating. The school is much smaller than my school. There are only five hundred students at the school here.
