On Wednesday morning we got up and packed our stuff. Today was the day we would travel to our cities and meet our families. At about noon Ingvild, my host sister, walked into the hotel. Then Roald, my host dad, came in. We grabbed my luggage and walked out to the car. It was very hard to understand them at first because I wasn't used to their accent. The drive to Krokstadelva, the city where I live, took less than an hour. The landscape here is amazing. When we arrived in Krokstadelva I was anxious to see the house I would be living in. Krokstadelva and Mjøndalen are sister cities in a valley. I don't really live on the side of a mountain, but to me it is a mountain. Really it is just a very large hill covered in forest. There is a river in between Krokstadelva and Mjøndalen. Both cities are quite small. So when we finally arrived at their house I was very happy. All the houses here are made of wood on the outside. So from the outside the house is nice, but not beautiful. When we went inside, it was amazing. I love every piece of furniture. It is very nice. So Tone's, my host mom's, parents live just down the street and they were there. They showed me around the house and my bedroom. I love my bedroom. We had lunch and then I unpacked. Then for the rest of the day we sat around and talked. I went to bed early.

Your Room
I am glad you took pics of your room. It is very nice. I especially like the sideways bathroom.
