Hit the I80 East for couple hours, then 30 minutes North up Cedar Rapids, which despite the recent floods is an classic old american small city, devoid of strips malls or suburban sprawl.  Then back to the I80 East into Illinois, where we hit another State Park by the Illinois river.  Then East again through Indiana into central Ohio.
