I love it that we can see the sea through our windows in the caravan, it feels very peaceful.
Monday went to Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay, this is the main tourist area with the boats going to Frazer Island and out to see the whales, as we have been there done that! It was great as the whales came right up to the boat.

May I have a photo of the caravan - sounds like a palace. It's a nice compromise between hotel and camping. Have never tried camping as I don't cope well without the GHDs and hairdryer :)
