Townsville was sunny when we got there, yaay. We stayed for a few days and were lucky to catch the Australian Army on their anniversary there so they had a couple of events on and were bringing people out for spins in huge army amphibians, cool! (see pics)

Townsville is a nice enough place but there's not much to it so we didn't stay there too long. Although it has a kick-ass Mexican restaurant called Cactus Jacks where we had the best Mexican since arriving in Australia over a year ago. We also decided to do a day trip to Magnetic Island, nice.
